September 2017 - Los Angeles Housing Partnership welcomes its new Executive Director David Grunwald!

Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles Housing Partnership (LAHP), a Los Angeles based affordable housing nonprofit organization, is pleased to announce that David Grunwald will be joining the organization as the Executive Director. Mr. Grunwald has extensive experience in nonprofit management, real estate development and social service provision.

Prior to joining LAHP, Mr. Grunwald was Chief Business Development Officer & Executive Director of UCP Wheels for Humanity. He focused on cultivating real estate and other business ventures, supporting property management team and collaborating with Boards of both organizations to promote growth. Before that, he was President and CEO of Affordable Living for the Aging (ALA), where he raised $2 million annual budget through private fundraising and increased real estate assets by 400%.

December 2016 - LAHP welcomes its new Director of Real Estate Development!

On December 12th, LAHP welcomed Eduardo Espinoza as its Director of Real Estate Development. Eduardo’s incredible depth of experience and values-based approach will round out the LAHP team. With Eduardo on Board, we solidify a team and LAHP’s focus on building and preserving affordable housing in Los Angeles, ultimately deepening our impact on the lives of people who are housing insecure, working poor, homeless and seniors.

Eduardo has worked in the field of non-profit affordable housing for over 17 years, developing over 1,500 units of senior, multi-Family, single family and farmworker affordable housing in California and Texas. Recently Eduardo worked at the Cesar Chavez Foundation as Senior Project Manager and he began his career as an AmeriCorps Volunteer for the East LA Community. He volunteers with a variety of political, arts and nonprofit organizations in Boyle Heights where he was born and currently resides.

November 2016 - A Time for Thanks and Appreciation

This November LAHP worked with volunteers from Bresee Youth Center, Barker Management and tenant & community volunteers to provide a Thanksgiving food distribution at Coronado Plaza. The event was festive with seasonal decorations and an Arts & Crafts area for children!

LAHP's team was able to bring assorted groceries and food supplements directly to 382 families and indirectly to an additional 200 off-site units by delivering food items with the help of Barker Management's staff!
